Twisted Wonderland: Riddle Roseheart’s Personal Story – SR: This is My “Ideal Dose” 1/2

I haven’t done much Riddle translations despite him being my second favorite, so here’s the first part of his lab coat SR story, “This is My “Ideal Dose””.

Location: Heartslabyul Dorm – Riddle’s Room

Sound Effect: Knock, knock

Riddle: Come on in.

Trey: Excuse me. Riddle, have you finished the documents that needs to be submitted for the dorm leader meeting?

Riddle: I finished it a while ago.
Here you go.

Trey: Opps… That’s quite an amount.
Is it okay for me to hand these in to the principal?

Riddle: Yes. I still have other documents to take care of, so I’ll leave this to you

Trey: Got it. I’ll hand it in right away.
Don’t push yourself too hard okay?
So then, I’ll be off.

Riddle: Seriously… Trey always worry too much.
That being said, if I rest I wouldn’t be able to get this done in time. Let’s hurry and finish this up.
Hmm, the next one is… The registration document for the inter-dorm maglift competition.
…I see, with Azul making it there are a lot of rules to it. It’s tiring just to read it.

Sound Effect: Rain sounds

Riddle: Mm, it’s raining…?
I didn’t notice earlier because I was checking these documents.
It’s pretty heavy. Even though there’s nothing on the forecast about it.
…Did Trey bring an umbrella?

Location: Cafetaria
—The Next Day

Trey: Achoo!

Riddle: !

Trey: Haah…. sorry for sneezing in the middle of a meal

Cater: Trey-kun, do you have a cold?

Riddle: Seriously… Didn’t I tell you to warm up and hurry to bed yesterday?

Trey: Haha, sorry. I wanted to finish my work and without realizing it it turned late.
It’s all on my own time management. It’s not your fault, Riddle.

Riddle: Mmhmm….

Cater: Wait, wait! Why must Trey who’s sick apologize to Riddle who’s just fine?
Maybe it doesn’t involve me, but I feel there’s a reason behind it!
Come on, don’t leave me out~

Trey: No, it’s not that big a deal…

Riddle: Yesterday, there was heavy rainfall while he was doing something I asked him to do

Cater: Ah~ Yeah it did rain.
How unlucky of you, Trey-kun.

Trey: Yeah… achoo!

Riddle: Trey, do you have a fever?

Trey: I took my temperature this morning but…
It should be fine now

Riddle: It’s best to retake your temperature after dinner. You don’t seem to have much of an appetite too…

Cater: What he said, you’re not eating at all.
Maybe it’s good to go to the infirmary after this?

Trey: You two are making such a big deal out of this. I’m alright.
I’m just a little tired.

Cater: Then at least day something easy to take in for your body, like some soup. Let me go get some for you okay?

Trey: I’m telling you, you’re making too much of a deal out of this. You don’t have to go that fa… achoo!
Uugh…

Cater: A~ah. I told you so. Riddle-kun…
I’m going to take Trey back to the dorm.

Riddle: …

Location: Library

Riddle: That Trey, his cold really got pretty bad.
If it goes on this way, people will question my management skills as dorm leader.
Homemade recipe book… Here it is. Um, a soup that can warm up the body to cure a cold…
Spicy curry soup, tomato and chili pepper soup, chive and pork habanero pepper soup…
All of this would warm a body up but they don’t seem good for the stomach…

Lilia: That boy over there, you seem troubled

Riddle: —! You’re Lilia-senpai from Diasomnia… Since when are you behind me…

Lilia: You seem deep in thought. Are you looking for something?
…Oh, is that a recipe book in your hands?

Riddle: Ah, no, this is…!

Lilia: Do you cook?
I thought at your place, that’s the responsibility of the vice dorm head

Riddle: …Normally, that is the case

Lilia: Haha, I see now. Could it be that Trey is down with a cold?

Riddle: Eh? How do you know that?

Lilia: Because we’re in the same class. He’s been sniffling since morning, it’s quite obvious even when you’re not trying to see it.
That being said, are you trying to find a light soup that’s gentle to the stomach?

Riddle: …That cold is my fault.

Lilia: Hm, hm. I too can remember this kind of agonized writhing.
How nostalgic, how old was Silver then…?

Riddle: I wouldn’t exactly say agonized writhing.
…It’s alright as long as I can find the recipe

Lilia: You’re not likely to find it.

Riddle: W-why do you say that?

Lilia: Kufufu. Because I looked for the same thing before.
A light soup for a cold is actually too simple, and because of that there’s no recipe for it
You can see the arrogance of these professional cooks, not including it.

Riddle: It can’t be…
Then I’ll have to think up a different menu

Lilia: Wait, wait, don’t rush to that.
I can teach you how to make a soup.

Riddle: Eh!?
